Supreme & RIMOWA drop another suitcase just in time for a little black Friday celebration

This year with the traditional red and white theme of Supreme long forgotten, the Supreme & RIMOWA collaboration comes with a fresh perspective of a classy black box logo on the jet-black suitcase.

Things turn a bit spooky as the collection gives its signature aluminum luggage a spider web update, a throwback from Supreme’s Fall/Winter 2016 Collection in contrasting white. Essentially, what we are seeing this year is a silver aluminum body being covered with a black anodized coating, and of course the spider web print on it.

Is it one to keep on the shelf or bring out into the real world?

The brand makes sure this limited-edition piece is long lasting as it uses a unique combination of anodizing processes for the spider web design on the aluminum surface to achieve an extremely defined and ceaseless look.

The suitcases will be available in RIMOWA‘s LVMH-reworked sizes of ‘Check-In L’ and ‘Cabin Plus’, instead of the previously nicknamed Topas variations. Given that RIMOWA bags are known for their sophisticated looks, they actually are very durable and warrant the hardships of a ‘Bag’s Life’ and the rough-handling of the airline staff.

The inside matters!

Synonymous with street and hype culture the Supreme x RIMOWA, the viscose jacquard fabric lining featuring a monogramed Supreme print on the inside of the suitcase and a matching drawstring shoe bag showcasing the renowned Supreme logo brings together the best of both worlds for an incredibly exclusive luxury travel tool.

The outside being just as plush with a custom co-branded black leather Italian leather luggage tag adds to RIMOWA’s usual suspects in-play: its Multiwheel system wheels, TSA combination locks, and two internal Flex Dividers to secure belongings and maximize packing space.

Declining to reveal the prices of the suitcase the Supreme x RIMOWA will be available in Supreme stores on November 14 and will hit select RIMOWA stores on November 16, just in time for a little Black Friday shopping.

With the last year’s collaboration sold out in just 16 seconds. Predictions are that this sale will share a similar drop time so be quick to grab your cop!
