You’re
probably wondering why G-Dragon comes first in the name but it is all about
marketing. The popular Korean pop singer Kwon Ji-yong who is more known for his
stage name ‘G-Dragon’ has collaborated with online shop PEACEMINUSONE and Nike
to come up with a special pair exclusive to Korea. G-Dragon designed a Nike Air
Force 1 and called it the “Para-Noise”.
Don’t be confused with the name yet. Let’s just call it the G-Dragon
PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 Para-Noise. Simply put, it is a stylized Air
Force 1. The black leather sneakers come with a white pebbled leather tongue,
white laces, and a white outsole with what appears to be a trace of black
paint.
Nike Air Force 1 Given a G-Dragon Spin
The pair by G-Dragon looks like any black Nike Air Force 1 but the black paint and the daisy applique are very noticeable. They are obviously the most distinguishing marks of the sneakers.
The shoes come in a special shoebox covered with a Hangul Nike wrapping paper. The team behind this has added decorative pins you can attach to the top eyelets.
